To explain better let me give you an example,

If a 45 kg or 100 lb woman consumed 3 drinks, then she should wait for at least 8 hours so that there are no traces of alcohol in her breast milk. Similarly, for a 93 kg or 205 lb of woman can start to breast feed after 5 hours and 30 minutes with the same amount of alcohol consumption.

Note:- Here 1 drink accounts for 340 g (12 oz) of 5% beer or 42.53 g (1.5 oz) of 40% liquor or 141.75 g (5 oz) of 11% wine.
