Once your egg is released, it can only be fertilized by a sperm for up to 24 hours. If during that period the egg is not fertilized, then you will have to wait until your next menstrual cycle to get pregnant.

For a healthy woman, ovulation happens 14 days before the start of your period, however, the timing of ovulation can vary from woman to woman and it is a good idea to use ovulation prediction kit to better estimate when are you ovulating.

Ovulation predictor kit works by measuring the luteinizing hormone (LH) level in urine. To use the ovulation kit, you need to pee on the stick. Once done, wait for few seconds for the result to show.
